Orifice flowmeter is a conventional differential pressure flowmeter. The maximum range ratio of orifice flowmeter can reach 1:10, sometimes it is difficult to meet the needs of users for large range. The double range differential pressure flowmeter adopts the method of adding low range differential pressure transmitter to improve the differential pressure measurement accuracy at the low end of the range, so as to improve the flow measurement accuracy at the low end of the range and expand the range ratio
Switching rules: the switching near the switching point is generally completed by software in the intelligent secondary meter. It is generally agreed that when the low range transmitter signal is less than or equal to 100%, the low range transmitter signal is effective; when the low range transmitter is more than 100%, the high range transmitter signal is effective.
Product advantages: unlike the variable cross-section orifice plate flowmeter with elastic moving parts, after a long time of repeated movement, the product with movable parts will gradually change the elastic curve, resulting in poor measurement accuracy. The flowmeter has no moving parts, so the measurement accuracy is more stable and less easy to be damaged.
