Product overview:

GE-511 series differential pressure controller is an adjustable differential pressure control product. This product is designed and developed by ayt company in the United States and assembled and produced by ayt company in Hong Kong. The product is similar to ue24-01 and Dwyer dxw-11-153 series differential pressure switches, and can be used instead of each other.

1、 Selection of installation location

The proper pressure measuring position of the differential pressure switch is very important to ensure the accuracy of the pressure difference measurement value and avoid the blockage of the connecting pipe of the differential pressure switch. If necessary, the pressure tap should be placed on the upper part of the pipe along the water flow direction and a 60 mesh filter screen should be set to avoid the blockage of the pressure tap by sewage. When installing, it should be as close to the inlet and outlet of the filter, HVAC heat exchanger and fluid pump as the pressure tap.


The installation position of the differential pressure switch shall be considered to avoid the connection copper pipe of the differential pressure switch from frost crack when the outdoor temperature is low in winter. If necessary, the water pipe and copper shell connecting the differential pressure switch shall be insulated and the electric heating wire shall be added.


2、 Impulse piping connection
1. Drill a hole in the pipe, weld a 1 / 4 "joint, and the copper pipe extending into the pipe should preferably be 90 along the water flow direction, so as to avoid the use of impurities in the sewage filter to block the pressure tap of the differential pressure switch.
2. Fix the differential pressure switch on the bracket (the position of plastic junction box is not required), and make 1 / 4 "copper pipe for connecting the differential pressure flow switch to the welded 1 / 4" SAE connection port.
3. The "high" end of the differential pressure switch is connected with the 1 / 4 "SAE interface of the high-pressure end of the system (the inlet end of the filter and HVAC heat exchanger and the outlet end of the water pump), and the" low "end of the differential pressure switch is connected with the low-pressure end of the system (the outlet end of the filter and HVAC heat exchanger and the inlet end of the water pump).

4. The connecting pipe is closely connected with the 1 / 4 "interface of the differential pressure switch. The copper interface and connecting copper pipe are insulated with 10 mm thick rubber and plastic insulation board and insulation pipe. The connecting pipe can also be evenly wound by electric heating line one by one, and the electric heating line is interlocked with anti freezing control. The connecting pipe with electric heating line is tightly wrapped with insulation tape, which can prevent the connecting pipe from frost crack.


3、 Commissioning of differential pressure switch
1. For adjustable differential pressure switch, the factory setting value will be marked on its nameplate without prior explanation with AIT company. The setting value can be changed by external adjustment knob. For changing the setting value, please refer to the differential pressure scale indication and description in the junction box. Turning the adjustment knob clockwise can increase the differential pressure setting value, and turning the adjustment knob anticlockwise can reduce the differential pressure setting value 。
2. In practical application, the set value of the pressure difference should be changed according to the requirements of the application. If it is necessary to accurately measure the pressure difference of the water circuit to be controlled, it is necessary to use a professional instrument to measure the pressure difference of the water circuit, and then calibrate the set value of the pressure difference switch.

3. If the set pressure difference is specified with AIT in advance, we can provide factory calibration service and print the calibration value on the nameplate to avoid inaccurate adjustment by users without professional instruments.


4、 Wiring of differential pressure switch
1. The adjustable differential pressure switch is directly output to the terminal block in the junction box, and users can conduct internal connection and external connection according to their own application. On the junction box, the user must also provide appropriate cable and 1 / 2 "NPT cable waterproof connector.
